Chef's Ware: French Toast

Serves 3-4

  • 11 Inch Skillet or 12 ½ Inch Family Skillet or 11 Inch Pancake Griddle


3 Eggs, beaten

½ Teaspoon Salt (2-3 ml.)

2 Tablespoons Margarine or Butter, melted (30ml.)

6-8 slices of bread


  1. Combine eggs, salt and milk. Blend well. Melt margarine in skillet over medium heat. Dip both sides of bread slices into egg-milk mixture. Brown in skillet, turning once. Serve with margarine and maple syrup, honey, applesauce, jam or jelly.


  • Add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon or ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg for a zesty taste variation.
